Introduction:
The idea or concept of “authority” is one of the oldest concepts of sociology, especially political sociology. The concept of authority includes different dimensions. Authority is an expression of a set of mandatory rules that members of a social or political system have agreed to interact with each other based on, and to delegate their implementation to whomever they see as most appropriate for that by virtue of strength, knowledge, wealth, social position, or otherwise. However, the submission of individuals or societies to authority is driven either by fear, benefit, or respect for a system of values from which they seek to regulate and develop their lives. It is necessary to distinguish in the case of authority and its forms between the “position” and its occupant, despite the mutual influence between them.[2]
Future studies have sought to monitor the mega-trends of the content of power and its position to determine its future in the long term. In this study, we seek to alert Arab and Islamic political forces to the transformations taking place in this regard, which will leave profound effects on the structure of our societies and on the extent of their ability to adapt to the changes that affect our societies and their authorities, especially political ones, as well as the societies of allies and opponents and their authorities alike. I also believe that it is necessary to be aware of the difference between mega-trends, events, sub-trends, or trends that may appear temporarily deviant or transient to the major historical trends, but they eventually return to be included within the path of the major trend. If they do not return to inclusion, they constitute a turning point.
